So, we now know that hackers managed to mess with Apple and target some of their iCloud customers. Let me say before I go on that as a Mac disciple I love iCloud and find it very helpful in operating my business.

Now, back to the ‘hack’ story, Apple says iCloud wasn’t compromised in this malicious attack and no one has walked off with Apple user ID’s or passwords. Phew.

Just in case…the advice is to go to id.apple.com and click on the Manage Apple ID link. Log-in… activate  Two Step Verification… this will cause Apple to send a message to all registered devices with a special number… and if a hacker tries to access iCloud they can’t get into the account – even if they managed to discover your password.
