You’re standing on the railway station platform waiting for your train. Here it comes. From the corner of your eye there is a backlit display case. It has the face of a pretty woman on it with long flowing hair. It’s advertising some kind of hair care product. Ho hum. Back to your approaching train.
Just as your train enters the station and prepares to stop your attention is grabbed by the girl in the display cabinet. Her hair is moving!
In fact, it’s being blown around as if by the turbulence of the coming train! And that’s because…it is!
Ad ad agency in Sweden has used ultrasonic movement sensors to trigger a video which plays on the display screen. As the wind picks up the video is played. And it is tuned to only be activated by trains not passing commuters. Very creative!
