Samsung’s Chief Executive has been pretty transparent in an interview with the Wall Street Journal admitting he is unhappy with his sales figures in the US…he’s hoping the new flagship Galaxy S4 will change that…and he voiced concerns about consumer demand for devices running Microsoft’s Windows 8 platform.

“Smartphones and tablets based on Microsoft’s Windows operating system aren’t selling very well. There is a preference in the market for Android. In Europe, we’re also seeing lacklustre demand for Windows-based products.”
